PAAL Art Park Logo



We designed this logo for use on fundraising collateral, signage etc. We needed to give our campaign a face. We are trying to raise $400,000 to finish our Petersburg Area Art League Art Park. Invincia Insurance Services












Here are a few examples of our work with Invincia Insurance Solutions. Initially we were asked to work with them on the development of their new name. After that we worked on concepts for their new logo and slogan. Our goal was to position them as a leader and advisor in the industry. Although the name was new to the market the company had been around for decades. We had to try and keep some value in the equity of their history so we developed the slogan " A Strong History of Forward Thinking". The samples shown are of a large format brochure and a series of "jumbo sized" direct mail postcards. In addition to the design of these samples we also designed their website at www.invincia.com and trade show exhibit, letterhead, cards, folder... you name it.

Architectural Showcase 34











Over the past 10 years we have designed more than 12 of these Architectural Showcases for Weather Shield Windows and Doors. What we have here are a few pages from showcase 34. The reason for doing these are to show the architect the design challenge and then show the design solution using the best windows and doors that you can get. We are an integral part of every aspect of the project from the design, photographic art direction ( on location ) to the copy. 

SRMC Full Page Newspaper Ad





Here is an example of one of a series of ads that we designed for the opening of the new Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg Virginia. One of the most exciting things about this logo that we developed is that it is now larger than life front and center on the building. As well as all over the facility campus. In addition to the development of their "new face" in the market place we designed a huge amount of collateral from invitations to the grand opening to most every single brochure and handout you would see. For over 12 years we worked on all of their advertising. We produced more than 25 TV commercials and hundreds of ads prior to their moving to this new location.


Richmond Auto Auction





If you live anywhere near the Richmond Virginia area you have likely seen this billboard. This very simple design works very well when traveling by at 55mph or faster. We designed the logo and then worked on everything from brochures, billboards and even training videos. We were going for a retro look and feel in our approach. The cool thing is that this theme is carried throughout the facility. They even have the old gas pumps, vintage auto signage etc.

Mardelian Farm Logo




This logo has a personal connection... This is the Hall family farm logo. It was taken from using the first three letters in each of my three children's names.  Margaux, Delaney & Ian... MARDELIAN.

ClearSounds® Quattro System















Here are a few of the latest projects we've been working with our new client ClearSounds®. They are one of the leading manufacturers in the U.S. of amplified hearing technology. We started working with them on a new logo and slogan several months ago and now we're working on promotional sell sheets and packaging like you see here. We're also working on a new website, promotional  brochures, e-Blast...etc. What a great client. They have such awesome products and the folks there are so cool to work with. You could not ask for a better situation! Let us know your thoughts.


EnergySmart™ Ads













Here are a few examples of what we've been working on for Weather Shield Windows & Doors. This series of ads were developed to be used in architecture publications as well as builder publications. The idea or goal is to show that you can have beautiful windows that can also be energy efficient too. So go ahead and spec these windows Mr. Architect.  Let us know your thoughts.

CDM Window & Door




Shown here are the design concepts that we provided for consideration to our client. Fortunately the basic design was approved with a few adjustments made. We had suggested that they consider the new logo shown in this design. However, they felt that they had too much equity in the logo that they had and decided not to replace it. All-in-all the site did work out like what you see here. Except we did not end up using this logo as shown. We also had to develop the same site in spanish as well. We enjoyed this project. Especially the opportunity to visit with them in Miami.  The were very nice to work with and always made us feel very welcome. Let us know your thoughts. Please share any comments that you may have.

Williamsburg Women's Chorus Logo



A few years ago we were fortunate enough to be asked to design this new logo for the Williamsburg Women's Chorus. In the end they decided that having two variations of the logo would work best for them.  This was a very exciting logo project to work on and we're very proud of the outcome.

Petersburg Library (logo concepts)






When working with the folks at the Petersburg Library Foundation a few years ago we developed this initial logo. Then things moved toward the development of a logo that would be used on the capital campaign. To date I believe that the foundation has raised more than half of the proposed 14 million dollars that they feel they need. Below this I have also posted the final logo that has been used.

Bank of Southside Virginia Poster





We wanted to share this poster that we worked on last year. When the news was all about small and large banks failing. Our client wanted to let their customers know that they were going to be fine and that there was no need to worry. This poster went along with some print ads and was placed at each branch inside the lobby and posted in exterior frames at each drive through. We also designed the logo and identity program about 12 years ago. So the sign in the photo shows that and we snapped off the photo at the branch right down the street from our offices.
